Deadlift PR, 280 lb at 110 lb bodyweight

This is over 2.5 x bodyweight. And I need to cook dinner (I seem to post these quicker updates pre-dinner rather consistently) so I will, for the most part, leave this post at that for now. Also, wordpress is being a pain and eating my posts when I try to post them. More blogging to come in the near future.

    make sure you work on keeping your shoulders back and chest up so that the lower back does not round.

    My wife is ~114# and does power/olympic lifting. I’m showing this to her for motivation!

    1. This is a max-effort attempt. Having perfect form on a max effort is rare in all but the highest level lifters. This was not a pretty lift at all, but if you watch my other videos, my deadlift form is actually extremely solid compared to that of many. My back is fine.
